Friends of Seend School (FoSS) are a committee made up of parents, grandparents and staff. We a friendly group who readily welcome new members at our meetings and have one main thing in common – we all want to help provide the best for our children. It is a great way to meet new people and help enrich the learning of our children.
Through the events we organise, we want families to have fun together and in so doing, raise valuable money for the school to purchase equipment and enhance experiences for the children that the school budget cannot stretch to.
The events we hold range from The May and Christmas Fairs, providing refreshments at Sports Day, cake sales, discos and talent shows, to name but a few.
We encourage all parents at the school to take part, whether by joining the organisation committee, or more casual participation by way of cake baking, manning stalls or helping at school discos. The money raised goes back to the school for funding educational resources, entertainment, transport and playground equipment.
You will find information on planned events in the diary section of the website. Any further information can be obtained via class representatives or Mel Steel the Chair of FoSS (firstname.lastname@example.org)

If you do not wish to commit to monthly meetings, but are able to help with cake making, manning refreshments and stalls at Fairs and sports day, please speak to any of the above, we would love to hear from you.
