Well weren’t those performances amazing. Well done to all involved on great acting, singing, costumes and behaviour. I hope you enjoy these photographs:
There is nothing like seeing KS1 children dressed as angels, kings and sheep to steal the show. Today’s performance was another triumph for the staff and children involved as we saw the nativity story from the view point of a curious sheep. Once again the acting, singing and narration were brilliant and the costumes gave it a really professional feel. What a beautiful Christingle Service on Thursday 9th Dec. The highlight has to be when the candles were lit, the lights went down and everyone sand Silent Night – pure magic.
There was a great response from this afternoons performance so I am sure this evening’s will be equally good, if not better. If you would like to order a copy of the DVD in time for Christmas then please return the order form and return with the money by Wednesday.
How lovely it was when the lights went down and the candles were lit on the individual christingles on Thursday evening in Church. Thank you to all those who came and to all those who helped. A total of £116 was raised for The Children’s Society.
A lovely harvest service was enjoyed by all at Seend Church today. A very large collection of tins, packets, jars and boxes of food were collected for Melksham Foodbank. The congregation were treated to a selection of Harvest related songs, prayers, paintings and facts and Head Boy and Girl did a fantastic job of overseeing the service.
Thank you to those many parents who attended and thank you for all the donated food.
What a triumph of singing, science, art, poetry and behaviour the Holly Class Assembly was this afternoon. Such clarity and confidence in their performance was amazing. A fantastic job all round.
A huge thank you to the whole Burton family for their organisation and running of the lovely family service at Church on Sunday.
If the dress rehearsal is anything to go by, families are in for a real treat with this year’s Christmas Around the World themed Nativity. With a dazzling array of costumes, dancing, singing and acting the children did themselves proud.
Chestnut Class enjoyed their annual task of making the Christingles for the service this evening. Though tempted by the sweets that get put on the end of the cocktail sticks, the children managed to successfully make 100 Christingles.
