Please click here to read the report from our Ofsted inspection on April 25th 2017. We are delighted that we have again been declared to be a ‘good’ school by Ofsted.
As we only had a one day inspection, the report is shorter than those written when a full, two day, inspection is carried out. This report is written in the form of a letter to the head teacher, and is not split into the five areas with a grading for each area, as would be found in a full inspection report.
We are rightly very pleased and proud of our report, as we believe the very essence of our school has shone through. I would like to thank all of you for taking the time to leave positive responses on the Parent View and more importantly, for your continued support throughout the year.
Whilst it is obviously a very positive report, it is clear that we have work to do with regards improving boys’ writing so their attainment and progress matches that of reading and maths. This has been on the school’s development plan in previous years, but we will give it a renewed focus next year, and also take more careful steps to monitor the impact of the strategies we use.
